Is Your Child Sick?
Not sure if that cough, rash, or fever warrants a trip to the doctor? Our
"Is Your Child Sick?" symptom checker helps parents quickly identify symptoms and understand when it's time to see a pediatric medical doctor — covering everything from fevers and ear infections to rashes, injuries, and behavioral health concerns. And when your child does need to be seen, our same-day sick visits mean you're not stuck waiting days for an appointment. Our team is equipped to evaluate and treat the full range of childhood illnesses, helping you stay proactive and informed about your child's health every step of the way.
Newborn Care
Bringing a
new baby into the world is one of life's most exciting milestones — and our team is here to support you from the very first appointment. If you're expecting, we encourage you to call our office a few weeks before your due date so you're all set with us as your baby's pediatric medical doctor. When the big day arrives, simply let hospital staff know you've chosen Optimum Medical for your newborn's care. For that first visit, be sure to bring any hospital paperwork (including hearing screen results and immunization records), available insurance information, diapers and a change of clothes, and any completed new patient forms. From there, we'll guide you through every stage of your baby's early development with attentive, compassionate care.
Youth Sports Physicals
Getting your child cleared for sports isn't just a formality — it's an important preventive care step. Our
youth sports physicals go beyond a standard well-child checkup, giving our pediatric medical doctor the chance to evaluate your child's readiness for physical activity and catch potential issues early. During the exam, we review your child's medical history (including past injuries, chronic conditions like asthma, and any concerns about dizziness or chest pain during exercise), assess musculoskeletal health — bones, joints, and muscles — for strength and flexibility, and identify any risk factors specific to their sport.
